Not only can we give a perfectly wearable old school uniform a second lease of life; we can help ease the strain on emptier pockets and bring a wider sense of community to the fore and help our environment to recover.
Your school can earn cash for clothes with our Kids Fill The Bag scheme!
We love to encourage kids to get on board with recycling and we know that this is the best way to recycle clothes and get paid for it. It’s easy, fun and gets a little healthy competition going between classes! All your school needs to do is collect a minimum of 40 bags of reusable textiles donations, give us a call and we will arrange a collection date. We then take all the bags away to be sorted and weighed and once this has been done, we will provide the school with a Certificate of Achievement and payment that reflects the amount of usable donations that have been collected at the going rate of £500 per reusable tonne (50p per kilo).*
Nothing goes to waste with Kids Just Recycle, what we can’t utilise here gets shipped overseas to help others in poorer communities. This way we manage to keep around 95% of the clothes we recycle out of landfill sites.
