Here at Kids Just Recycle, we are committed to working with schools and educational settings across the region to help recycle pre-loved clothing, paired shoes and household textiles and help keep them out of landfill. So much so, that we will support your fundraising efforts by paying between 40p-50p per kilo for reusable textiles donated.

Earn Extra Money For Your School
1.Kids Fill The Bag Scheme
One of our most popular fundraising schemes is our ‘Kids Fill The Bag’ scheme. All schools have to do is collect 40 bin bags full of pre-loved clothes, paired shoes and household textiles and schools could generate as much as £500 per tonne of reusable donations. By simply filling up bin bags full of out-grown and unwanted garments, unclaimed lost property, or clothing cleared out from wardrobes and cupboards at home, much-needed funds can be raised.
We have also included a range of great downloadable printables on our website to help schools promote their Kids Fill The Bag challenge within the school and the wider local community.
2. Install a FREE recycled clothing bin in school grounds for all year round recycling
We have installed hundreds of FREE personalised, school-branded clothes bins all over the South-East of England and due to popular demand, our geographical area is increasing all the time. By having a bin installed, the local community can donate into the school’s recycling bin and we will pay up to £400 per tonne for reusable donations. All we need from the school is a JPEG of the school logo, or equivalent artwork file, and we will take care of everything else. Once the bin has been installed, we will regularly visit the site for emptying and cleaning so that school staff need never worry about any unsightly mess. We have a team of professional and expertly trained uniformed, ID-wearing staff to take care of the maintenance of the bins throughout the year.
By simply collecting bin bags full of pre-loved items or filling up the school clothing bin with donations, money can be raised and put towards funding a new school project, buy new equipment, pay for essential building works, or expand school club programmes or make a donation to a preferred charity; the opportunities are endless. We can also pay you in one of two ways – a one-off upfront cash payment of £250 or throughout the year paying you 40p per kilo that you collect – it really is that simple to earn extra money for your school this Christmas.
