earn cash for clothes

Do you want to earn cash for clothes?

We have a great scheme that can boost fundraising for your local nurseries, schools and kids clubs!

Here at Kids Just Recycle, we’ve made earning cash for clothes child’s play simply by donating your unwanted, pre-loved clothes, paired shoes and household textiles! And guess how much we will pay you for your donations? A whopping £400 per tonne for your reusable items!

Order a FREE branded recycling bin today by calling 020 3903 9933 and we will do the rest. All we need from you is high resolution digital artwork of your school or club’s logo and we will supply a completely personalised bin. We will deliver, install, empty, clean and tidy and pay you for your donations. We will pay 40p per kilo for all reusable donations we collect from you and if the market value goes up – so does your payment.

By simply getting your local community to fill up your recycled clothing bin full of pre-loved, out-grown, unwanted garments, unclaimed lost property items, paired shoes or household items such as towels, duvet covers, pillow cases and curtains, you can get a cash sum paid directly to you to help fund new equipment or projects.

We also have some handy hints about other ways you can recycle items that aren’t textiles – and still earn rewards for them too. Some high street brands offer recycling programmes that allow you to earn discounts or store credit for recycling, subject to the offers still be valid of course!

Lush will give you a free face mask for returning plastic packaging for recycling. All you have to do is bring a minimum of 5 empty Lush containers back in store and it will send your old pots to their supplier to regrind and remould them into a whole new supply of containers.

Boots will give you 500 free Advantage card points, worth £5 when you return multiple old makeup and empty toiletries. Normally, you would have to spend at least £125 to earn 500 Advantage card points as the loyalty scheme offers four points for every £1 spent. You’ll need to use your smartphone camera to take a picture of each of the items on the Boots Scan2Recycle website, then drop them off in store and you’ll receive a bar code to redeem the points at a No7 till point – you need to collect the points on the same day though.

Levi’s stores have a recycling box where you can drop off denim from any brand. You can save 10% off a single item when you bring denim in for recycling. Levi’s are now using materials for other things such as building insulation, a portion of which will go towards community-oriented projects, such as libraries, hospitals, and schools.

The Perfume Shop will give you 10% off your next purchase by returning an empty bottle of fragrance! On the average priced bottle of £60 you could save £6 – that’s a deal not to be sniffed at!

Apple will take any phone no matter the model or condition and in return for recycling a device you can get a credit towards your next purchase, or receive an Apple Store Gift Card. Most other phone stores will do this including: Carphone Warehouse, Vodafone, Samsung, Virgin Media, EE and O2.
